Frequently Asked Questions

Operating during the Covid-19 lockdown period

We are living in unprecedented times and all of us must be responsible citizens and contribute towards the country’s efforts to fight the spread of the Corona Virus and to flatten the curve. ALUWANI Capital Partners has implemented its business continuity plan (BCP) since the start of the outbreak and escalated this implementation following the announcement of the lockdown period by President Ramaphosa. We will remain vigilant throughout this period and we look forward to a positive recovery to normal operations when the country has conquered this crisis.

Is ALUWANI operational during the COVID-19 lockdown?

Yes.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we have activated our business continuity plan (‘BCP’), which describes the actions and procedures that must be followed to minimise the consequences of a disaster or any event that could potentially disrupt business operations. The plan makes provision for the resumption of services and relocation of staff to alternative sites.

So we continue to service our clients remotely. The capital markets are also continuing to operate as normal, therefore we assure you that our investment teams are well equipped to remain focused on managing your investment during this time.
